Tom Hardy is Venom: New Trailer and Did We Judge Too Soon?

About two months ago, Sony released their first look at their last-ditched effort at Marvel movies. The trailer for their Venom movie was…lackluster at best. I myself wasn’t even impressed and considering Tom Hardy is starring in it, I wanted to be more excited than I was. Sony’s take on the well-known anti-hero is running in association with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although Tom Holland will not be appearing as Spider-Man, which seems strange to a lot of fans.

Official First Look at Tom Hardy’s ‘Venom’ Movie

Having an MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) version of Spider-Man is great, but did we really need Sony to produce a film centering around the sometimes villain/sometimes anti-hero? Who cares! It features Tom Hardy himself as Eddie Brock and in the end, isn’t that enough to reel in fans? It’s enough to make us stop asking how does this movie in anyway associate itself with the MCU and Tom Holland’s Spidey?

In all seriousness though, with a new age of superhero films, we need a movie centered around someone unexpected. There have been a handful of Batman and Superman remakes. Spider-Man himself has had three live versions. It’s time for someone unexpected to make a splash. New Site, Same TC Stark

A summary of TC Stark’s Reviews

You may be asking yourself, who is TC Stark? She’s me!

As a passionate lover of movies and TV shows, I decided to start this site to share my thoughts and reviews. Here, I hope to give readers honesty and professionalism with each article. I’ll also be keeping up with the latest news stories. Most of what I write will be Marvel or DC related, but I don’t like to limit myself. Since Netflix is my best friend, I find myself watching shows or films that are a few years old and I’ll want to talk about them. So, expect that kind of riveting journalism!

In all seriousness, I have been writing for fourteen years now. I have published several books on Kindle and contributed to several sites such as MCUExchange, The Source by SuperheroStuff, and iZombie Support Group. Click on the links to check out my published pieces!

The good thing is we have a lot of great stuff coming up. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, The Defenders, Baby Driver, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and so much more coming out in 2017. iZombie season 3 premieres on the CW at 9 pm on April 4th, so I surmise that will be my first review. If you’re a fan (which you should be), check it out with me!

Thanks for sticking with me for my first post and I’ll see you at the next review!
