Just What Can We Expect from ‘The Punisher’ Season 2?

There are plenty of speculations floating around about what we may expect from the second season of Marvel’s The Punisher. Some have teased Suicide Run and Slavers storylines for the next season to the popular Netflix show. Whatever direction they decide to go with, I have a good feeling. Jon Bernthal was a stand-out in Daredevil and his debut show was everything I could have hoped for and more. An interview with Felicia D. Henderson, a writer, producer, and director, made me even more pumped for what’s to come.

Throwback Thursday: Jackie & Ryan

I love independent movies. They’re extremely underrated and deserve more recognition. One film I’ve watched recently and really enjoyed was 2015’s Jackie & Ryan. Starring Katherine Heigl and Ben Barnes, this romantic drama was filmed entirely in Utah and only took twenty days to shoot. While that sounds like it may not be enough time to put together a decent flick, I wouldn’t rule this one out. It’s a very enjoyable and feel-good movie that’s worth your time.

My Sorta Spoiler Filled Review of ‘The Punisher’

There was no other Marvel show I looked forward to the most than The Punisher. From season two of Daredevil, I was hooked on Jon Bernthal as the anti-hero Frank Castle. For a “side character”, we got so much from the second season of Daredevil, but it didn’t even scratch the surface. In many ways, we can throw out what we know about The Punisher and rewrite the narrative. You haven’t met the real Frank Castle until you’ve seen The Punisher. THAT Punisher Poster was Fan-Made, but Still Awesome

If you’ve been on Twitter or Instagram recently, you’ve probably seen a Punisher poster that was so bad-ass it had to be real. The Punisher costars Ben Barnes and Deborah Ann Woll even promoted the bullet-riddled poster, which led many to speculate it was legitimate.

As awesome as that poster is, it’s in fact, fan-made. Giuseppe Spinelli is a digital artist from Italy and is the genius behind this awesome gift. Regardless if it’s real or not, it’s more than appropriate for Frank Castle and definitely hyped up the fan-base. We aren’t sure when The Punisher will exactly be released on Netflix, but at least we know it’s going to premiere in 2017.

In case you haven’t seen it, here’s that awesome poster I keep talking about. Make sure to check out Giuseppe Spinelli’s Twitter page. Hopefully, Marvel/The Punisher sees because it’s definitely the perfect artwork for the show.
